May 20, 1862: President Lincoln passes the Homestead act where farmers can take over large areas of land recently seized from Native Americans.
The Mystery X family settles from the deep south to Kansas to establish farms on what was recently the homeland of America's indigenous people. X still lives on a patch of the original free land handout. He still hears the voices of angry Native Americans in the wind.
August 30, 1868: Leonard "Live-Forever" Jones dies.
March 13, 1921: Roman Ungern von Sternberg proclaims Mongolia an independent monarchy under his rule. His regime exists for six months, ending with his ouster and hand over to the Red Army on August 21, 1921, and his execution on September 15, 1921.
October 4, 1957: Sputnik 1 (Спутник-1) is launched into an elliptical low earth orbit by the Soviet Union.
January 9, 2007: Foundation Day is declared by the Infictive Originals.
