Howls in the night

Many of the mutants that live under the city cannot stand the light of day. It burns they're mottled skin. They howl and kill and hunt and die in the night. The city echos with they're cries, and the cries of they're victims. You are safe somehow. They fear the area you live in, thinking it haunted. You wonder about that yourself sometimes. You have seen and heard some eerie things around here. You get your best sleep the sunrise hours. Before you get up and hunt for food and goods like the night shift does.
