The Infected Rat is a music club at 1600 at Targil Street in Libreville Oregon. Founded by Larry Dank in 1983, it was originally intended to feature Industrial bands such as Skinny Puppy and Ministry, but became a forum for Mutant Jazz and [[Twisto-rock] bands like The FuckGodTrio, The Daath Riders, Rutt sack nut crunch, the Ricky Plume Group and Octaine 23. In later years, it would be more known for Mutant Jazz bands such as The McFint, The Phil Lectrum Quartet, The Shunting, and Inkwell performing there.

Allan Smithee directed a documentary on the infected rat club using scenes he filmed himself along with lot of vintage audio and video recordings from the clubs history The tale of the Infected Rat soundtrack has some obscure Libreville bands in it.
