The first change in line up happens
Your band gets a boost early in its run when you meet Racky! Racky Thompson, trumpet player for the Shunting! His band is on a year long vacation and he still wants to play. He loves the idea of hooking up with a talented but unknown band like yours. Now you have two trumpeteers in the band.
Then things get even better! Ross Kantner, the Trombone player for the Phil Lectrum Quartet is kicked out of his band for a series of lewd acts onstage. He meets you through Racky and now you have another famous player in the band. This means you can just walk into the studio and record an album and a record company will pay for it unheard.
