You begin drinking beer as soon as you wake up. You finish a twelve pack by two P. M. A case is gone by Five. Then its a bottle of wine, a ritual this whole thing is. You drink a bottle of wine with dinner. Now its a pint of whiskey to get you through the next hour and a half. After that its a unknown amount of beers and a small handfull of other bottles of booze. You keep this up for two years, writing and drinking, doing little else. At the end of it you find you have written the Great American Novel! It goes number one of the best seller lists for two consistant years!
