The top of the stairs seems all clear. Someone stacked a barricade of things to block zombies from getting over unless they got lucky. It's not so hard so you to climb up and over though. Up and over to face a couple scared Men with guns. Soon as they see you coming over the blast a few rounds into your head and chest. You tumble downstairs and the zombies fest. You would have died in a few anyway at that point.
