Today is Monday, December 1, 2014, which, as you well know, is the anniversary of the death of the Wickest Man in the World. Requiescite in pace, Pope Leo X and Aleister Crowley. This is your week that was:

  • Police in Ketjack are cautioning hikers to remain on the trails and to report any unusual activity in the woods, as a spate of disappearances have rocked the area township and left the anxious people without answers. Some locals are chalking it up to Satanic cultists, others to werewolves, others still to Satanic werewolf cultists, and others besides are claiming it is flying saucer related, pointing to mysterious lights that are frequently seen in the forest thick. Search parties have so far turned up no evidence of any cult activity or saucer landings, but authorities "are not ruling out anything at this point," according to the local police spokeswoman.

"For all we know, they all just left town without telling anyone, and will never be heard from again as they start new lives, far, far away. That happens sometimes."

  • Some yahoo confirmed to us that pre-production (and talent negotiation) has begun on Target Ziggurat, a sci-fi film of "epic scale and dimensionality", currently attached to first-time director... Mystery X? Yes, the long-time producer in the Libreville circuit is being touted as the current coordinator for a massive blockbuster scientifiction extravaganza. Plot details have not been made available, but some are suggesting this will be one for the ages.

  • 'tis the season, and the Black Circle have joined into the holiday fray with a new album, soon to be released, just in time to make it under the tree and into the cyber-stocking: The Black Circle Christmas album. Two singles have been making the rounds via pirate radio, the catchy "Our Christmas Song to You" and the political "It's really Yule not Christmas".

And now, your Bieber Fever Report!

Are Justin Bieber fans more altruistic because of his music? A recent study says just that, and reveals that haters are crueller, stingier after hearing his music, proving once and to all that their hearts are just too deficient and broken to feel the love that Bieber inspires in a whole generation.
