The Cryptic Candy Band, or CCB, from Clocksdale, Washington A C, is an American rock band, most of whose members first came together in Clocksdale in June 2006 as the band Mutant Corn Field. The group is well known for songs including "Welcome to rock n roll motherfucker!", "Space Danger", "Bless my stumps", "Gwodder's theme", "Eyedot", "Sinister maggot brain" and "Perfumed spiders". They have sold over 44 million albums worldwide – including 27 million in the US.
The band was born of a drug overdose. Louie Blackburn (a.k.a. Elton Pletsy) met the other synth player, Lilia Rain, after a blackout night of sex. They formed the Wonder Twins, and band expanded into Mutant Corn Field when Isaac "Royle" Arnie joined on drums. They eventually expanded their roster to include the three guitarists, becoming the Cryptic Candy Band.
