You shit yourself with fear

You are freaking out. The longer you wait alone in this dark car the more you believe the story you just heard. You search the glove compartment and you find Nicolm's handgun. You had hoped there would be one there. You wait a half hour in the dark with the gun on your lap. Something brushes against the hood of the car. You flip on the lights to reveal a man staggering against the fender your way. He is blood covered and missing a hand. A horrid broken bone juts up from the wound. It doesn't bleed. You are convinced. You watch the zombie start pounding at your window,trying to break its way in. You scoot over the the other side and you unlock the door. You get out quickly as the thing lurches around the car at you. You fire three rounds, the first misses, the second hits it in the chest. The dead man moans and falls. But he starts getting up again. You use the opportunity to close in and shoot it point blank in the head. It falls and moves no more.
