The coming of the cold

The earth will be quiet again. After a tormented season of assassins, political upheavals. Brief revolutions and startling discoveries. Chill winds and blizzards from space. Angels seen flying above the land, singing strange songs. Monks with meat hooks for heads gliding across the snowscapes. Seemingly impervious to the cold. Slowly the world becomes barren and electrical systems fail. In the end no fire can withstand the onslaught of the slamming hands of killing winds.
