View source for You hear something prowling late at night, something big

You hear pounding footsteps. Like a big animal walking on its hind legs. You remain still in your hay barn loft bedroom and listen on. You hear a fence bend and the cows start acting up. You climb down the rickety steps to the earthen floor of the big barn. You pick up a pitchfork for protection and stalk closer. You are downwind and it must have smelled you. The huge footprints recede away and you never get a glimpse of what made them in the darkness. The footprints in the mud that morning are a lot bigger than any human foot!
