You escape to mexico and stay there three weeks. There you do the sketches but later become a series of paintings named Dark Times. You are sick a lot from the water in mexico and you leave for Colombia. You stay there awhile in poverty. You cannot afford to paint. Someone steals your sketch book and you later find the pages in the woods. They used it for toilet paper. Paper of any kind is hard to come by nowadays. You feel like you have nothing now. You feel that this is the end of the road.
