THE BAND


The Quick Nods are an American dark pop band formed in Libreville and one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts in Oregon history. Rooted in glam rock and punk, the group has since worked in many genres ranging from synth pop to psychedelic rock, often incorporating mutant jazz and other elements in innovative ways.

Lust and High Fortune 2007 The first album completely written by the band, featuring the hit song "The attic full of drawers".
Rebellion of the Bile Gods 2007 None of the songs of this album were written by members of the band; it was quickly recorded after the shock success of their previous album, "Lust and High Fortune".
Saturday Night Special 2008 Called album of the year by countless reputable magazines, spawned five hit singles.
Until it Begins to Whorl 2009 Only one half of the album contains songs performed by the Quick Nods, but it still sold out on release.
Scag 2010 A strange experimental album, featuring the singles "12 cell salts" and "Comfortable as ash"
